复旦大学放射医学研究所简介

复旦大学放射医学研究所是国家为开展原子核科学技术及其医学研究而于1962年建立的,前身是上海市工业卫生研究所,1985年改名为上海医科大学放射医学研究所,2000年改为现名。

复旦大学放射医学研究所是我国专业从事放射医学与辐射防护的研究所,是该领域的专业技术指导中心之一。主要从事电离辐射生物学效应、放射肿瘤学、辐射防护与辐射剂量学、放射卫生、辐射药学等研究工作,承担着对上海市政府及其相关部门进行技术支撑、技术指导和培训的职责和任务,承担着上海市核事故与放射事故医学应急准备与响应任务,长期开展环境放射性检测、医用建设项目职业病危害放射防护评价、放射诊疗设备质量控制、放射性从业人员健康检查与个人剂量监测、放射性职业病诊断、放射卫生防护标准的制定、以及相关技术服务的信息化工作。

放射医学研究所目前在职职工人数为46名(含科研助理),其中研究员4名。招收放射医学与其它医学学科、生物学、公共卫生学、物理学等专业来源的硕士和博士研究生,开展放射生物学、放射药学、放射毒理学、辐射防护等方向的研究工作,毕业生拥有100%的就业率。多年来,研究所积极参与有关国际组织工作,多名专家分别担任ICRP专家组成员、国际空间研究委员会(COSPAR)Associate;与美、英、日等多个国家的科研院所保持着密切合作关系。

Institute of Radiation Medicine, Fudan University (IRM, Fudan University), is a specialized technical institution for radiological medicine and radiation protection, affiliated to Fudan University, and is a professional guiding institute in this field nationwide. The institute fulfils and assumes the responsibilities and tasks of technical support to the Shanghai government and technical guidance and training to the local professionals. The institute is engaged in researches on biological effects of ionizing radiation, radiation hygiene, radiation protection and management, environmental radioactivity monitoring, clinical therapeutic and managerial experiences and also quality control of ionizing radiation in medicine and radiation dosimetry; in the meantime, the institute is also charged with the responsibilities of Shanghai medical emergency preparedness and response to nuclear and radiation accidents, management of health surveillance and individual monitoring of radiation workers, management of radiological health standards, and management of scientific and technological information on radiological medicine and protection.

IRM now has 49 staff members. It enrolls every year doctoral and graduate students in radiobiology, radiopharmacology, radiotoxicology, and radiological protection. For many years, the Institute has kept in close contact and cooperation with international organizations, and academic bodies and research institutions in United States, Japan, United Kingdom and other countries. One professor of this institute serves as member of the Task Group 81 of ICRP.
